June 2011 - New Techmesh members announce approval as a Provider of Electronic Communication Networks

AVM is the UK’s leading visual communications systems integrator. The company provides a complete range of video conferencing and audio visual services to the private and public sectors.

AVM recently gained Ofcom approval as a Provider of Electronic Communication Networks (PECN). As an official carrier, using its own dedicated interconnects that are specifically designed for video communications, AVM offers quality and reliability of service as well as steeply discounted ISDN rates.

Edward Cook, CEO of AVM, said, “We are pleased to have this accreditation, it means we can increase quality, reliability and support whilst decreasing costs to our clients by up to 60% when compared with telecommunications providers.”

Helen Silverman, Membership Development Manager for techmesh welcomed the news, "this is great news for AVM. We met at a recent Leeds Chamber of Commerce event 'Supporting Growth' and knew straight away they would add value to the techmesh membership. We welcome AVM to the network and wish them the very best of luck with Ofcom's official status going forward".
