May 2011 - Matrix Display Systems Ltd changes name to AVM Education Ltd 

Nearly three years ago MatrixMatrix Display Systems Ltd, a division of AVM, is pleased to announce that from 1st July 2011 it will be known as AVM Education Ltd.

Display Systems was acquired by AVM and has since been operating as the specialist education division of AVM. The new name is intended to show that it can draw upon the core skills and strengths of AVM, whilst still differentiating itself as a prominent education specialist.

AVM (www.avmachines.com) was established in 1990 and is the leading visual communications systems integrator in the UK. The company designs, supplies, programs and supports complex audio visual solutions ranging from boardroom presentation suites to IP-based video conferencing networks.

The Northern branch of AVM is situated in Leeds and is home to sales, project management, technical, service, maintenance & Installation teams.

AVM became a member of Leeds, York & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce in February 2011.
