James Stere, Chief Operating Officer

James has over 15 years experience in managing global conferencing services. He started his conferencing career in the US and then returned to the UK to set up and run the EMEA sales division at Global Crossing Conferencing. Later he was approached to do the same for V-SPAN (now BT Conferencing) for Europe. He was previously the founder and Managing Director of Key Decisions, the leasing company. James was one of the key founder members of vc-net and joined in October 2001.

Daniel Selby, Finance Director

Daniel qualified as a Chartered Accountant with BDO Stoy Hayward and after qualification worked as a Senior Investment Analyst for both Eurovestech plc (an AIM quoted venture capital fund), and BBC Vecta, (part of the corporate venturing arm of the BBC developing technology applications). Daniel has experience in growing companies including fund raising and company listings. Most recently he was Finance Director of Clear Start UK Ltd, a specialist financial services company. Daniel oversaw rapid growth of sales and earnings before Clear Start was sold to one of the largest companies in the sector. Daniel joined vc-net in Feb 2008.

Andrew Day, Sales Director

Andrew has worked within the Conferencing and Telecoms industry for over 12 years. Starting within BT's Conferencing division in 1997, Andrew managed the Specialist sales team, who focused on new business acquisition. Andrew also worked closely with the BT carrier division to offer Video conferencing deployments over networks such as MPLS. Andrew joined vc-net in 2003 with his main aim being on revenue generation, through the management of the Direct Sales team.

Rehan Khan, Professional Services Director

Rehan began his career within the telecoms industry at Cable & Wireless. During his time there he was initially responsible for large financial accounts before moving across to the carrier division. Following his employment at Cable & Wireless, Rehan was Director of the UK and Benelux, Voice and Data Division for Facilicom-World Access Ltd. Rehan joined vc-net in 2003 and has spent the past 6 years developing strategic solutions with Partners and Global Accounts.

Stephen Lewis, Head of Operations

Stephen started his career installing, maintaining and managing Government strategic telecommunications for 11 years.  He then provided Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) consultancy for clients such as BAA plc, ABN-AMRO and The Bank of England.  In 2000 Stephen joined the Dutch start-up ISP @Home Benelux and was instrumental in helping it grow to  the largest ISP in Holland, now renamed as Ziggo.  He was then appointed Head of Group Operations  in Gibraltar. Stephen has a BSc. (Hons) IT & Computing and recently completed a Master in Business Administration (MBA) at Exeter University. Stephen joined vc-net in Dec 2009.
